The Festival begins on Tuesday 11th March 2025 and spans across four days, concluding with Gold Cup Day on Friday 14th March 2025.

The Championship races represent the highlight of each days’ racing. There are four in total across the Festival:

1. Champion Hurdle (Tuesday 16:00)

The Champion Hurdle is the first Championship race at the Cheltenham Festival, which is run over a distance of two miles.

2. Champion Chase (Wednesday 16:00)

The prestigious Queen Mother Champion Chase takes centre stage on day two of the Cheltenham Festival, as the best chasers around look to join an elite roll of honour.

3. Stayers' Hurdle (Thursday 16:00)

The Stayers' Hurdle is the main event of day three as the horses with the best stamina levels bid for glory up the Cheltenham hill.

4. Gold Cup (Friday 16:00)

The Cheltenham Gold Cup is the undisputed highlight of the Cheltenham Festival. Galopin Des Champs is bidding to win the famous race for the third year in a row in 2025.
