The Miami Heat won their third game in a row to take a three-to-one lead in the Eastern Conference finals with a 101-93 overtime victory over the Chicago Bulls at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami.
LeBron James was once again outstanding.LeBron James had six of his game-high 35 points in the extra frame as the Big Three scored all of the Heat's 16 points in overtime to give Miami a commanding lead in the series.
Once again Chris Bosh had a strong game on the offensive end hitting 6-for-12 from the field and 10-of-11 from the line for 22 points. Equally important for the Heat was the play off the bench where Mike Miller and Udonis Haslem each had nine rebounds. Miller also chipped in with 12 points in 26 minutes.
Regular season MVP Derrick Rose scored on a number of spectacular dunks, but struggled from the field hitting just 8-of-27 for the Bulls on his way to a team-high 23 points. Carlos Boozer and Luol Deng both shot 50 per cent from the field to keep Chicago in the game, scoring 20 apiece, but once again the Bulls bench was ineffective contributing only 18 points and five rebounds in the loss.
Joakim Noah, fresh off a $50,000 fine from the NBA for comments he made to a heckling fan, grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds for Chicago, but could only hit 3-of-10 from the field in 45 minutes.
