Clippers go in search of ninth straight

The Los Angeles Clippers head to Milwaukee on Saturday to play an in-form Bucks side in a battle of Division leaders.
A game-and-a-half ahead of the Golden State Warriors, and seven in front of the Los Angeles Lakers, the Clippers, 7501.00 to win this season's NBA Championship, have not lost since a surprising seven-point setback to the New Orleans Hornets in the last week of November.
Coincidently the Hornets will be the opponents when the Clippers return to the Staples Center in LA after finishing out their four-game road trip with contests in Milwaukee (6001.00) and Detroit (10001.00).
The Golden State Warriors step straight back into action on Saturday after a 99-85 defeat to the Magic at the Amway Center in Orlando. Stephen Curry and David Lee combined for 49 points for the visitors, but the Magic countered with a well-balanced effort as JJ Redick led six Orlando players in double figures.
Friday the Los Angeles Lakers overcame the Washington Wizards 102-96 at the Verizon Center. The win snapped a four-game losing streak for the Lakers who nonetheless are four games under .500 with a very unlike-LA record of 10-14.
The Lakers make the short journey on to Philadelphia to play the 76ers on Sunday before returning home to host the Charlotte Bobcats on Tuesday.
The Southwest Division leading San Antonio Spurs will look to snap their two-game losing streak when they host the Boston Celtics at the AT & T Center. The Spurs may get caught looking ahead to Monday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder and this appears an excellent opportunity for the visitors to sneak a game that they wouldn't normally expect to win.
Two games back of the Spurs are the Memphis Grizzlies who are in a mini-slump having lost to the Atlanta Hawks, Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets. Saturday the Grizzlies complete their road swing in Salt Lake City against the Utah Jazz and then return home to host the Chicago Bulls on Monday.
