Marco Scutaro drove in seven and hit a ninth inning grand slam as the San Francisco Giants hammered the St. Louis Cardinals 15-0 at Busch Stadium.
The Giants scored the 15 runs on 15 hits to win their second in a row against the defending World Champions after losing the opener on Monday.
Ryan Vogelsong (10-5) blanked St. Louis on three hits over seven innings to win his second in a row after also being the pitcher of record when San Francisco scored 16 runs against the Colorado Rockies.
The Giants' 12-game winner, Madison Bumgarner, matches up with Adam Wainwright in the finale of the four-game series on Thursday afternoon, before the National League West Division leaders return to AT & T Park in San Francisco to host the Rockies in a weekend series.
The Giants are 1.90 to win the National League, with the Atlanta Braves 301.00 and the Washington Nationals 3.25.
Down at Dodger Stadium in LA, the Dodgers completed a three-game sweep over the visiting Chicago Cubs.
Chad Billingsley (8-9) allowed four runs on seven hits and a couple of walks while striking out five to record the victory, with Kenley Jansen striking out two in the ninth to register his 22nd save of the year.
Thursday is an off day the Dodgers as they travel east for a weekend set against the Miami Marlins in South Florida.
