Serena Williams is in sublime form at the moment.
Serena Williams has every chance of retaining the Bank of the West Classic title she won last year when she takes on Coco Vandeweghe in this year's final.
Just a week after winning the Wimbledon title and, despite suffering from jet-lag, Williams set up an all-American final by crushing the Romanian Sorana Cirstea 6-1 6-2.
I want to do well here. I have points to defend, which is really motivating for me.Serena Williams
Meanwhile, lucky loser Vandeweghe stunned the number five seed Yanina Wickmayer, sealing a shock 6-2 3-6 6-2 victory.

Vandeweghe, currently the world number 120, is 1.001 to win Sunday's clash, the first WTA final appearance of her career, while Williams can be backed at 1.001.
Williams, after taking just 60 minutes to dispose of Cirstea, said: "I wasn't too happy with how I was playing but I did what I had to do to win.
"I'm happy to win though, and it's really good to be back in the final. I want to do well here. I have points to defend, which is really motivating for me."
Williams has now won 27 of her last 28 matches and is looking to clinch her 43rd WTA title.
