Federer has not been at his best at SW19 this year and was forced to come from two sets down before eventually beating Julien Benneteau in the previous round.
However, with Rafael Nadal already out of the tournament, Federer can now be backed at 1.44 to win the Wimbledon title, while Andy Murray is available at 3.60, Novak Djokovic at 1213.00 and Mardy Fish at 1001.00.

"My back is OK, it started to feel better as the match went on," Federer said after his win. "It come and goes. When you play on tour for over 15 years the back does hurt at times, you just hope it doesn't come in a big match. It was scary, but the treatment was a big help."
The world number three will meet the Russian Mikhail Youzhny in the last eight.
