Petra Kvitova has tipped Serena Williams to go on and win a fifth Wimbledon title, after seeing her reign as champion come to an end in the quarter-finals.
Kvitova was swept aside 6-3 7-5 by the American, with Williams moving on to a semi-final showdown with second seed Victoria Azarenka, who beat Tamira Paszek 6-3 7-6 to reach a second consecutive semi-final at SW19.

I think it's really tough to beat her.

"I can't say it's impossible to beat her because she's human," Kvitova said after being soundly beaten. "But I think that's why she is a great champion, because she knows what she needs to play the important points.

Williams is 1.57 to see off Azarenka and reach a seventh Wimbledon final, while Azarenka is 2.37 to reach a second final in the last three Grand Slams, having won the Australian Open earlier this year.
In Thursday's other last-four clash third seed Agnieszka Radwanska will take on German left-hander Angelique Kerber after reaching her first-ever Grand Slam semi-final.
Radwanska was pushed all the way by Maria Kirilenko, eventually winning 7-5 4-6 7-5 on Centre Court after rain had stopped play on Court One.
Kerber, who will play in her second Grand Slam semi-final, also took three sets to see off compatriot Sabine Lisicki, winning out 6-3 6-7 7-5.
Radwanska is 1.90 to reach her first Grand Slam final, with Kerber 1.90 to come out on top and achieve the same goal.
