Fortunate Federer claims Dubai glory

Roger Federer has admitted that he was fortunate to beat Tomas Berdych in the final of the Dubai Duty Free Championships.
The Swiss star secured the title for a sixth time after beating Berdych 3-6 6-4 6-3 but was far from his best against the battling Czech Republic star.
Federer had to come from a set down to beat Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals and once again started slowly in the final.
Things definitely went my way out here, but it is nice to get a lucky break again.Roger Federer
After his victory, the 32-year-old said: "I was happy I was able to use momentum, win that second set, and then it was a tough opening period in the third, wasting the 0-40 game on Tomas' first service game. Then saving break points myself. Anything could have happened there.
"Things definitely went my way out here, but I have had a lot tougher matches in the last one-and-a-half years, so this is nice to get a lucky break again."
Federer is 19.00 to win the French Open this year and 6.00 to triumph at Wimbledon. It was the 78th tour-level title of his career but his first for nine months.
