Focused Ferrer ready for Berdych

David Ferrer admits he faces a tough task when he comes up against Tomas Berdych after both men won their opening rubbers in the Davis Cup final.

Spain and Czech Republic are tied at 1-1 after the first day of action in Prague with Ferrer beating Radek Stepanek 6-3 6-4 6-4 before Berdych clinched a dramatic 6-3 3-6 6-3 6-7 6-3 victory over Nicolas Almagro.
Ferrer and Berdych face each other on Sunday after the doubles rubber between Ivo Minar and Lukas Rosol and Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez on Saturday.
After his straights set victory, Ferrer said: "My next match against Berdych is going to be difficult. The surface suits his game better - I will have to be very focused."
Berdych broke world number 11 Almagro's serve in the eighth game of the first set before the Spaniard bounced back in the second set to level it at 1-1.
World number six Berdych got the decisive break in the third set but Almagro took the match to five sets after taking the fourth on a tie-break.
Berdych broke to lead 4-2 in the decider and, although Almagro responded in the next, the Czech player managed two more breaks to win the match in three hours and 58 minutes.
Spain are now 2.62 to retain the Davis Cup while the Czech Republic can be backed at 1.50 to clinch the trophy for only the second time following their success in 1980.
