Ronnie O'Sullivan proved he is back to his best by capturing the Premier League title.Ronnie O'Sullivan secured his tenth Premier League title with an emphatic 7-1 victory over China's Ding Junhui on Sunday.
'The Rocket' has previously admitted he considered calling time on his career but O'Sullivan insists he is now enjoying his snooker again after picking up his seventh Premier League crown in eight years.
The 35-year-old nearly managed to secure a whitewash but Ding picked up a tight fifth frame, before O’Sullivan won the next three frames in a row to take the title.
"That was brilliant. Ding did have a few chances but the balls didn't run for him. I had a bit of luck and made it count," O’Sullivan told worldsnooker.com.
With the UK Championships on the horizon O'Sullivan insists he is back to his best and is ready to challenge for more silverware.
O'Sullivan is priced at 1213.00 to win the UK Championships in December and 1.25 to secure the world title at the Crucible in Sheffield next year.
He added: "Last year I wasn't going to play snooker any more, but I got my head right and was able to play on. Now I want to play and I'm enjoying it and that's the most positive I've felt.
"This is one that's always nice to win. It's a fantastic crowd, a great weekend of snooker and hopefully it will set me up to win a few more this season."
