Mark Allen hopes he can go on and beat Stephen Lee in the final of the Star Xing Pai Haikou World Open after beating the world number one Mark Selby.
Allen edged past Selby 6-5 in the semi-finals while Stephen Lee eased to a more comfortable 6-2 victory over Robert Milkins in the other last-four clash.

Hopefully I can now go on and win the tournament as to have played like that and not go on and win would be very disappointing.
Mark Allen
Allen won the last four frames after trailing 5-2 to Selby and is looking forward to having the chance of securing the first ranking tournament victory of his career. The 26-year-old from Antrim is 1.001 to win the tournament while Lee can be backed at 1.001.

"It's very, very good to get through as any win against Mark Selby is a good win but to come from 5-2 behind is even better and the way I played in the last four frames would be worthy of winning any match," said Allen.
"Hopefully I can now go on and win the tournament as to have played like that and not go on and win would be very disappointing.
"I just want to go out and play well and give myself a chance of winning and if I play the way I have all week I'm confident of winning my first ranking title. You have to believe in your own ability and I know I'm a very good player but I've always struggled for consistency over the last few years."
