Milczarek fires Turner warning

Rising female jockey Kirsty Milczarek reminded Hayley Turner that she has stiff competition in holding on to her First Lady of the Turf at Bath yesterday.

We should see even better from her before the end of the season.

Milczarek - riding with supreme confidence - lifted the Bath Business Awards 2012 Nursery with a fine ride aboard Spray Tan at around a highly rewarding 8/1.
And immediately afterwards she told race fans that this was a filly on which they should certainly keep on the right side of declaring: "She can win again."
The two-year-old kept on well to win her race well and Kirsty said: "She was a little green, but in the end she's gone and done the job very well indeed."
The outing was a huge improvement when she's failed to make the frame, but the jockey added: "The ground was all against at her on her last run at Redcar.
"But I liked her a lot when I rode her up there and I've been dying for her to run again, as I was sure she was better than that.
"I think and hope she can go on from here, but she's a filly who needs to be ridden from the front. Remembering that, we should see even better from her before the end of the season."
Meanwhile, Ryan Moore is 26.00 to win the Flat Jockey Championship, while Richard Hughes is 1.01.
