McCoy unconvinced by Thunderstorm

AP McCoy wasn't the least bit convinced by Thunderstorm's winning performance at Towcester yesterday and admits there may 'not be much left to come'.
The Philip Hobbs-trained winner ground his way up the hill in soft ground and had to pull everything out to hold off the late charge of South Stack.
I'm glad he made it three in a row, but I'm not sure whether there's much more to come from him.AP McCoy
And afterwards McCoy admitted: "He really did make hard work of that. On this occasion the track helped because he has the stamina but he will need to do things easier than that in the future.
"Jason Maguire put in a good jump on his at the last and I wasn't sure where we would go after that but mine just managed to scramble in.
"I'm glad he made it three in a row, but I'm not sure whether there's much more to come from him."
McCoy rode a double on the day and even before jumping aboard the moody Sentimental Journey, he had sent punters a warning which proved prophetic.
He said: "He's certainly not one of my favourite horses - he's really not the most reliable of horses. He very much has a mind of his own."
And so it turned out with his mount keeping pace with the winner before throwing in the towel at the bottom of the hill.
McCoy added: "He just emptied out. It wasn't a big surprise."
McCoy is back in action at Catterick today, with Get Back In Line 3.00 to win the 3.20, while Special Catch is 2.62 and Morning Royalty is 6.50.
