Abercrombie could be fit for Grand Final

New Zealand Breakers forward Thomas Abercrombie says he was delighted to find out he can get fit before the start of the NBL Grand Final clash with the Perth Wildcats.
In the Breakers' Game 3 defeat of Townsville Crocodiles, Abercrombie was fouled hard by Peter Crawford and at that time it looked all doom and gloom for the 24-year-old small forward. But the condition of his sprained ankle has improved significantly since then and so the smile has returned to his face.

I didn't think the foul was necessary but I don't hold any grudges.

The NBA is in full swing with Miami Heat at 2.50 to win the 2011/12 Championship, while Oklahoma City Thunder are at 1.66, Chicago Bulls at 7501.00 and Los Angeles Lakers at 10001.00.
After being fouled hard by Crawford, Abercrombie became upset and both the players had an angry exchange of words before the latter limped off the court due to his injury.
Abercrombie recalled his behaviour after the foul and said: "I was angry because I thought that was it. I knew the game was over at that stage and I thought I was done for the finals and I was pretty disappointed and frustrated. I didn't think the foul was necessary but I don't hold any grudges. Pete's a competitor and he was obviously upset that they were losing and it was just a hard play-off foul."
About his injury, he explained: "It's certainly not as bad as I thought when I first went down. The first couple of days are going to be crucial, to see how it pulls up after the swelling goes down."
