Donald rates major chance

Luke Donald is aiming to take the momentum he gained from last month's Open Championship into the US PGA Championship as he seeks to make his breakthrough in the Majors.
Luke Donald is upbeat ahead of the next Major.Donald has arrived at Kiawah Island with more confidence than usual after tying for fifth place at Royal Lytham three weeks ago.
It was not so much the manner of what he achieved at The Open that pleased the world number one as his mental approach to the game.
Donald was delighted with how he handled all the pressures of playing for one of golf's biggest prizes and believes a similar performance this week will see him challenging for honours on Sunday.
"Coming off the US Open I was very disappointed with how I kind of handled the situation mentally," Donald said.
"I didn't come in hitting the ball that great and maybe that added to some of the anxiety.
"But certainly I think there was a little bit of a breakthrough, just realising at the Open Championship that no matter how I'm hitting it physically there's always a way to mentally be on top.
"I did that very well and as a result I also played pretty well."
Donald goes into this week's event hoping to extend an astonishing run that has seen the last 16 Majors won by 16 different players.
The likes of English compatriots Justin Rose, Lee Westwood and Ian Poulter will also be keen on featuring in that run but Donald revealed that the sequence will have no impact on how he prepares for the tournament.
He added: "I guess the longer the streak goes, the more encouragement it gives to those guys who haven't yet won a major, like myself. But I'm not sure if it changes anything for me.
"I continue to focus on what I can do and hopefully give myself a chance on Sunday."
Englishman Justin Rose is 26.00 to win the USPGA, with Tiger Woods 9.00 and world number one Donald 21.00.
