City star Lescott remains cautious

Joleon Lescott believes Manchester City only have to look back 12 months to ensure nobody gets carried away by their amazing start to the season.
Joleon Lescott has warned Manchester City fans not to get carried away.Roberto Mancini's side are still unbeaten in the Premier League, having won nine of their first ten games, handing them a five-point lead at the top of the table.
City have also broken top-flight records by scoring 36 goals during that sequence and are currently favourites to go on and land their first title triumph since 1968.
But the message coming out of the Blues' dressing room is a very different story and nobody is being fooled by all the plaudits.
Don't forget all Premier League matches are covered by the bet365 100% Euro Soccer Bonus, where you could earn a bonus of up to 100% on your returns on pre-match accumulator bets.
At this stage last term, Chelsea were also seeing off all-comers, setting a frenetic pace, until they suffered their first defeat of the season, ironically, at the hands of City.

It's a great situation to be in but we won't be taking anything for granted.

And defender Lescott insists they don't want to fall into the same trap of complacency. City will resume Champions League action on Wednesday night when they travel to Spanish side Villarreal, a team they beat 2-1 on home soil a fortnight ago.
They are 7.00 to win 1-0 in Spain with Lescott available at 26.00 to open the scoring. Meanwhile, City are 1.10 to win the Premier League title and 1213.00 to secure the Champions League.
City will hope to get a result against Villarreal with the minimum of fuss and conserve some energy for an away fixture at Queen's Park Rangers on Saturday evening.
Lescott said: "It's a great situation to be in but we won't be taking anything for granted. Manchester United were beating teams at the start of this season, Chelsea did it last year and probably had a bigger gap when they were beating teams by the same margins.
"So we know it's not over and it won't be an easy task to stay there but we are determined and confident. Everyone has a blip at some stage, but we are confident that if we do drop form at any stage we can bounce back strong."
