Lazio defender Stephan Lichtsteiner has called on his team-mates to give a belated kickstart to 2011 by beating Sampdoria on Sunday.

Delio Rossi's men did not have the best of starts to this year, however, as they were held to a 0-0 Bore Draw at Genoa before losing 2-1 at home to struggling Lecce.
Last weekend's setback saw the Biancoceleste slip one place to third, six points behind league leaders AC Milan and just two points clear of city rivals Roma.
Lazio are now at odds of 1213.00 to win the Serie A 2010/11 outright.
"To have taken just one point from our opening two games of the year is not enough," said Lichtsteiner.
"In Genoa we didn't concede a goal but against Lecce we gave away two goals that we could have easily avoided.
"We need to bounce back immediately.
"Against Sampdoria, we will need to make the most of our chances, something we didn't do against Genoa."
The Biancoceleste will be without injured striker Tommaso Rocchi and defender Giuseppe Biava, who serves a one-match suspension.
Rivals Sampdoria bounced back from defeats to Brescia and Palermo with a 2-1 triumph over Roma in the last round.
The result allowed the Blucerchiati to climb to ninth in the standings with 26 points from 18 games.
Samp coach Domenico Di Carlo expects more of the same from his players when they travel to the Stadio Olimpico to face Roma's city rivals Lazio.
"It hasn't been an easy triumph against Roma but a team like ours cannot pretend to win with ease," said Di Carlo.
"All of our wins come with suffering.
"My players showed great character against Roma and I hope they will show the same fighting spirit against Lazio."
Samp will have to overcome the absence of suspended defenders Daniele Gastaldello and Stefano Lucchini.
Nicola Pozzi is expected to partner Giampaolo Pazzini in Samp's attack with recent signing Federico Macheda dropped to the bench.
