Owner content with Reading moves

Reading manager Brian McDermott was able to sign four new players in January.
Reading owner Anton Zingarevich is confident that his club strengthened their squad enough last month to aid their bid to beat the Premier League drop.
The Royals made four signings before the transfer window slammed shut again at the end of January and although Zingarevich would have ideally liked more deals to be done, he is content with the business that was completed.
We are in a better position right now.Anton Zingarevich
He told the Reading Post: "We could have probably done more, you can always spend more money.
"We wanted to achieve something, which was to make the squad competitive and make sure that it was getting us over the line.
"The psychology doesn't change. We could have bought big, big players, but that doesn't ensure you success, like you see with other teams.
"What we wanted to do was to protect what we have and make sure that we progress.
"Maybe we could have done better, maybe it was a mistake, but we are in a better position right now."
The Royals are currently one place and two points outside the drop zone, having won three and drawn one in their last four league games.
They are back in action on Saturday when they face a tough trip to the Britannia Stadium to take on Stoke City, with the Royals 3.50 to gain a draw in the Potteries and 4.33 to keep a clean sheet, with the game 9.00 to end in a 0-0 stalemate.
