Peterborough United have rewarded striker Dwight Gayle by making his loan move from Dagenham & Redbridge permanent.
The 22-year-old has scored five times in six games, finding the back of the net in the last four matches, and will join Posh permanently next month for a fee of £500,000.

I want to improve and I believe I can do that here.

Gayle believes he has joined the right club with which to further his career.
"I am delighted that everything went well, I have really enjoyed my time at the club during my loan spell and I am very pleased to be staying," he told the club's official website.
"I want to improve and I believe I can do that here."
Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson, whose side prop up the Championship table and are 2.62 to be relegated, was pleased to have secured the player's signature.
"Dwight has done very well, and him and Lee Tomlin have formed an effective partnership," he added.
"They have caused a lot of problems and long may that continue. I am pleased that everything has been sorted out and credit to the chairman for providing the finance for the deal."
Peterborough are 15.00 to beat Wolves 2-1 on Boxing Day, while a 2-2 draw can be backed at 12.00.
