Bolton Wanderers fans have been told to get on board if Dougie Freedman's side are to make a late dash for the promotion shake-up in the Championship this season.
The Trotters were roundly booed by their supporters after losing 1-0 to Sheffield Wednesday at the Reebok Stadium on Boxing Day.

Freedman has conceded he now needs to make a splash in the January transfer window to improve his options and will speak to chairman Phil Gartside next week about funds.
Bolton are lurching closer to the relegation zone and they will again be forced to run the gauntlet this weekend when they host Birmingham City - with the Trotters 1213.00 to be promoted and 1213.00 to go down this season.
Midfielder Keith Andrews was handed the captain's armband against the Owls, with striker Kevin Davies serving a suspension.
And the Irishman insists large sections of the Bolton fans now need to consider the impact their frustrations are having on the team.
Andrews insists: "If we want to mount a serious promotion charge this season we need to make the Reebok a fortress. I understand the fans at the end of the game. If you don't play well you don't get the plaudits.
"But during the game we need the supporters to stay with us. When they are criticising certain players they need to analyse that."
