Wright eyeing England recall

Sussex all-rounder Luke Wright is eyeing an international recall ahead of Tuesday's announcement of the England limited-overs party to face West Indies.

So be it if it is just one-day and Twenty20 cricket for me - I'm very happy with that.
Luke Wright
Wright, 27, has not played at the highest level for 12 months - his last appearance came in Twenty20 defeat to Sri Lanka in Bristol.
But he has not given up hope of an imminent return, nor winning a first Test cap, following a successful winter as a 20-over specialist in Australia, South Africa and India.
Wright, whose other employers include Melbourne Stars, New Age Impi and Pune Warriors, has been something of a victim of his own versatility, having batted in various positions from opener down to number eight for England, and been employed in spells of varying lengths.
"At times before I played for England, I played all the various roles for Sussex as well," said Wright.
"It's for the selectors to choose where to put me; I would love to be at the top of the order, that's where I feel you get most from me as a player.
"But I have also been used as a finisher and done quite well at that."
And although there appear to be no openings into Andrew Strauss' world number one Test side, the former Leicestershire player has not given up on a childhood ambition.
"When I started out as a young boy, Test cricket was the pinnacle and it still is for me, but to represent England in any form is something you dream of doing," Wright said.
"So be it if it is just one-day and Twenty20 cricket for me - I'm very happy with that."
Reigning champions England are 1213.00 to win the World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka later this year, with India 1213.00 and Australia 1213.00.
