Lopez enjoyed Ortiz shock

Josesito Lopez claimed he 'shocked the world' after he defeated Victor Ortiz in the ninth round of their welterweight clash in Los Angeles.
Lopez was only supposed to keep Ortiz ticking over after stepping in to replace Andre Berto, who failed a drug test. But he went toe-to-toe with Ortiz for the majority of the fight.
Lopez was hurt by an illegal right from Ortiz in the fifth, but got the green light from the ring doctor to continue the bout.

I told everyone I was going to shock the world. Today's my day. Today's my day.

Ortiz looked well on course to win the fight as he led 86-85, 87-84, 88-83 on the judges' scorecards, before he was caught with a left hook to the jaw in the ninth.
The Californian's camp then informed the referee that Ortiz could not continue as he had suffered a broken jaw which left him unable to close his mouth.
After being handed the victory, Lopez said: "I told everyone I was going to shock the world. Today's my day. Today's my day.
"I'm excited. I had to fight the fight of my life to win. I knew I caught him every round. I might not have thrown the majority of the punches, but the ones I was throwing, I knew I was connecting."
The defeat means Ortiz's promoters Golden Boy's plans of a future fight with Saul Alvarez are now in ruins.
Meanwhile, Britain's Amir Khan is looking to step up to the welterweight division following his WBC light-welterweight bout with Danny Garcia in Las Vegas on 15th July. Khan is 1.14 to win the fight, with Garcia 6.00 to come out on top.
