David Haye is set to take on Dereck Chisora in an all-British heavyweight contest.David Haye will step out of retirement in July to take on fellow British heavyweight Dereck Chisora at Upton Park.
The pair hit the headlines when they were involved in a brawl following Chisora's points loss at the hands of Vitali Klitschko in February.
Chisora had his boxing license revoked by the British Boxing Board of Control as a result, while Haye does not hold a license with the BBBC as he retired following his loss in a heavyweight title fight against Vitali's brother Wladimir.
However, Chisora's promoter Frank Warren has been given the green light to stage the event with the Luxembourg Boxing Federation and the pair are now set to meet at Upton Park in London on 14th July.
Warren told The Sun: "Before anyone starts screaming, let me point out the Luxembourg boxing association was formed in 1922 - seven years before the British Board.
"They have given their approval for the bout and it will go on at Upton Park under their jurisdiction. As fully-fledged members of the European Boxing Union, that is what they are entitled to do.
"I never said Dereck shouldn't be punished, but the board here withdrew his licence - they did not ban him so he can apply to any boxing board."
Chisora is 1.01 to emerge victorious, while former WBA heavyweight champion Haye can be backed at 1.01 to see off Chisora.
